Hello everyone,
This morning I noticed ripped leather on my driver seat. Picture below:
I remember I put my hand couple times in that area when I was getting into the car. I didn't expect that the palm of my hand would rip leather.
I emailed service adviser at my local dealership asking if the seat can be replaced under warranty. He replied to me:
This is the picture that he attached to his email:
So, I have few questions.
1. Am I really out of luck with replacing the seat under warranty?
2. If yes, can I patch the leather with anything so the hole doesn't get any bigger?
Any advice is appreciated.

Unfortunately, I can't do anything with it. Had it been that the seat was fraying at the seam, or coming apart, that would be something I can send in, but it has a tear in a non seamed area, meaning it was cut or punctured in some way. The picture attached is directly from Hyundai on upholstery claims
