My bad. I think you are correct. You sure? I think both Ed and I read it as having had two of them painted -- blacking out the five straight bars. It's a really striking difference, but I think it's the same metal. (I'm entirely open to being wrong about that)
Looking for an updated pic with all 4 rims reworked.
My mind reading skills are a little weak. How was I to know he posted in a different thread than the one he initiated?I think he already posted some pics in other thread. As far as I remember, they look decent.
edit: there they are: Share Photos of Your 2015 Genesis Here.

Ram20 how about it?
Looks pretty nice actually. My fear with DIY stuff like this is how well will the paint hold up with the heat, cold, washings, rocks, etc. I'd hate for it to chip off in a short time, could make wheels look really trashy.
Ram20, thanks for posting a pic of the completed job. It gives a better representation than just 2 wheels. I hope it holds up with wear & tear.I used Plasti-dip black and glossifier..I'm thinking they may not hold long at one of the edges but will have to keep an eye on them..on my last car, they lasted for a couple yrs.
Yeah I see that now...all good! I like it!I don't hate them. I'm on the fence on if I like them better than OEM though. They actually make the car sort of look like a Kia Optima to me lol.
Next summer hopefullyThey look good! Now ditch them and put an aggressive set of of staggered 20's on it! (j/k!)
Are you selling the stock rims?Wanted opinions on new look...will take good and bad..got 2 done today..the other 2 tmrrw..
