  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Second guessing my color choice

Gah, missed that. Thanks!

No problem. The green looks fantastic in the Sport trim with the dark chrome! But so does the Siberian Ice!

The G80 reminds me a lot of an old Oldsmobile or Buick. Looks like a big boat (and drives like one too). That doesn't make it bad though, just appeals to different people.

You are right there. At age 71, the G80, comfort and smooth ride, seems to fit. Yet, 30 years ago, I likely would have been a Sport or G70 fan. One thing I would like to see, a G80 with a 3.3T. Not available, unless I was to Jump to a G90, for another 25K. Not quite ready for that :)

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Huh? G80 sport has the 3.3T.

Yep, it also has an ugly grill and other trim, that destroy the "pristine" look of the G80. I want a straight G80, with a 3.3T. One can get a G90 with a 3.3T but again, it's pricey.

Um...ok. I think you need to go with a Caddy. Lol.

Had a 2001 CTS enjoyed that. I'll limit posting here, after all it is the G70 forum. Sometimes I see something interesting and respond without realizing I am out of the G80 forum, my apologies. :)

This video on YouTube shows most of the G70 colors. I’m not sure if international G70s have same colours here.

At 2:34 and 4:50, do think that one is silver or white? I have no idea what he is saying.

Something showed up at the dealership today.

I happen to prefer the grill on the G80 Sport over the standard grill. I also like the copper accents. The copper sets it apart from every other car out there.

Come on guys!! If you all keep buying this car it wont be unique anymore lol..

Right on. Can't wait to see full pics of it unwrapped.
It looks like the dark chrome will contrast nicely with the silver.

I think it's silver and a beauty too! White is at the 41 second mark. Love the silver with the 10 spoke alloy prestige wheels at 2:02.

Silver is a nice colour, easy to live with, does not show spider scratches etc. Show us some pics when you get it delivered.

great color choice. unwrap that beauty and post some pics.

Instead of getting it delivered I went to the dealership and picked it up. 38% tint on the side windows and 20% on the rear.

I bought the cargo mat to protect the bumper.

Had to stop at Costco on my way home.

I picked it up on Friday and have put 700kms on it so far as I had to go to a grad this weekend. It's an awesome car to drive on the highway and I'm really pleased with everything about it. I'm also happy with my color choice and it looks better in person than it does in the pics. I'm even liking the dark rims which is kind of a surprise for me.
