Our 2022 GV70 with 10,100 miles (purchased in Dec 2021 - now it's Aug 2022) has been at the local dealership's service center for 2 weeks now and they have no idea what is wrong with it.
How it started: Driving on the highway back home from work ALL my guages suddenly went to 0 (zero), the collision detection system started pinging, CEL came on, & i lost both power-steering and power-braking. I could not tell my speed either since my speedometer went to 0 as well. I pulled over and called the emergency support through the in-car s.o.s button. The support member couldn't do much more than tell me she saw the CEL/etc warning lights as well. I managed to drive slowly back home then call support to get it towed to my local dealership (Genesis of South Richmond in Virginia).
Now: 2 weeks have passed and not only is the communication from the service center at the dealership completely non-existent, no one knows what is wrong with the car. The service manager (Josh) stated that there are 3 pages composed of 50 codes that the car is throwing. They ordered and replaced the CAN bus & under-dash fuse box but that did not fix anything. At this point in time they are running 1 or 2 tests a day and sending to Genesis Engineering supposedly all the way back to Korea.
Side Note - I have been forced to RENT on my own with the promise of reimbursement despite NO ETA on a fix on my GV70. The dealership also refused to give me a loaner despite originally stating they will; apparently Genesis themselves told them to tell customers to rent on their own for reimbursement, etc, whatever bs.
Has anyone else experienced an unexplainable issue like this in their Genesis GV70 or other model?
