Siri Nav question

I gave a POI to SIRI and she asked if I wanted directions or or to call. I asked for directions and expected route to show on map on Nav screen. Instead it was the end of communication. Am I expecting wrong? Voice command comprehension is poor and I'm looking for alternatives. I've been setting up POI's on bluelink app on computer or phone and sending to car. Works great.

What you are expecting is what will be in CarPlay some day. Siri cannot interface with the Nav until CarPlay is released. Right now, the ability to call up and talk to Siri with a button is all that is implemented. I suspect the directions would have come from Apple Maps which should have started up on the phone in your case.
