I got mine from Dallas Automotive Restyling, 1-888-556-2301,
www.dallasautomotiverestyling.com and am very happy with it. Pre-painted for me with the 3M tape already on it.
The only bit of advice I can give, is before installing, place the
spoiler just where you think it should be, (tape backing still on the tape), just so you get to "feel" the correct position. Once you have the "feel" for the correct position, remove the tape backing (but do not place on trunk yet), then with a water hose, wet the trunk and the
spoiler tape. Give it a good soaking. While it is still wet, GENTLY place the
spoiler on the trunk and GENTLY slide the
spoiler to the correct position. (Because everything is wet, you will be able to move and slide the
spoiler to the correct position). Only after you are sure that the
spoiler is in the correct position, and only then, you can press harder on the
spoiler to set it in place. (not too hard as now you don't want it to move). Next, wipe away any water. Now, press the
spoiler down harder to the trunk. Once you have done this, park the car overnight to allow any water on or under the tape to dry. Next morning, again, press down hard to make sure the tape and
spoiler has set to the trunk.
Thats all there is to it. Easy.
One warning to those of you who insist on just placing the
spoiler on the trunk without getting everything wet. DON'T DO IT. Even if you measured ahead of time. If you are even a quarter inch off in your placement, once the tape sticks, it is stuck there forever. That 3M tape is fantastic stuff, and you will not be able to remove it.
