  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I can't get over those 5 spoke wheels. They look so good.

Posted by Abdullah0637, I noticed... the Genesis closest has fake exhaust. If you zoom in you can see a mesh, whereas the black one has real.

It is fun to see the spy shots and speculate on what’s changing. Yet I for one will be pleased if the next gen takes its sweet time. My 2019 G80 Sport 3.3TT is just about perfect. Not keen to have it lose any of its luster just yet.

And I agree with the hotel parking valet who delivered it to me at a meeting yesterday: everything about this car is great! (When I told him it was half the price of a loaded Tesla, he looked shocked—so to speak.)

By the way, any word on the GV80 availability?

Nothing confirmed yet but check these previous posts by Oscarnero and Aura:

Also there are some new spyshots for gv80 here:

Blind spot monitoring indication in the mirror definitely looks red in that pic.

Again, thanks for the amazing pics.

They might have changed it to make it have a similar color to what Mercedes has on their Blind Spot indicators.

And hopefully it works at 1 mph, unlike the current generation that starts working at 20 mph

Almost all manufactures have a set speed for the Blind Spot to activate. The majority of the industry has it at 20 MPH because it needs a set MPH in order to activate.

There should be deaf spot activation because I can't really see when driving.... I rely on my hearing.....

What was the purpose of mounting the mirrors on the door panels instead of the window frame like before? I guess for aero dynamic reasons but I don’t like the little fixed triangle glass in its place.

By mounting it on the side it would cause for possible aerodynamics and I’m guessing Genesis was like we have a bank here why don’t we just add a small glass for better visibility.

Reduction in road noise and to increase aerodynamics/reduce drag coefficient.

Definitely visibility as Glaz said. Visibility where the A pillar is and better side. Also aerodynamics and wind noise reduction.
