Not sure about that steering wheel, too non luxurious and more toward less than $20k cars but in reality the impact could be different due to materials used and color

I'd wait until full reveal and seeing high resolution images. I remember following the GV80 and not being impressed by any of its interior. Until it was revealed and was blown away and very impressed. Those leaked pictures never do justice..

They're definitely doing some weird things with the steering wheels especially the GV80 2 spoke design which reminds me of the 2970s and 1980s.

You're really obsessed with these new steering wheels. Several reviewers said once you see and and feel it in person...they grew to love it.

Also...there is logic to it. Since there is a digital display (including 3D)...the more visible space in the upper portion of the wheel (between center and top) the better to visually utilize everything that is there, etc.

So if you move the center down...adding a third spoke to the bottom (between center and bottom)...it would look short, stubby and idiotic. So the 2 spoke design makes 100% sense. The center portion is a bit more bulky towards the bottom to help fill out the void.

There is no automotive rule out there that a vehicle cannot have a 2-spoke steering wheel...and only 3-spoke is allowed or visually appealing. And really...if you want to nit pick...the new G80 has a 4 spoke steering wheel.

WOW! Finally a clear image of it! Yes I remember they kept it secret for a long time! Its design is really stellar and looks elegant it's one of my favorites now.
Same... I'm not sure about the size of the last one but from many images it looks like 18 inches to me.

I'm just glad my wife chose a new Q8 once she saw the GV80. Maybe it was the steering wheel!

The more I look at the rims, the more I realize that it's going to be a tough choice come buying time. I'm beginning to change my mind on the 5 spoke for the other styles.

It is more $$, but we got a pretty decent deal on it and her trade in. Whatever, her car... she works too. Lol
