  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I am overcome with emotion right now.

Was just about to pull the trigger on a 2020. Now what?

Extremely slick. Finally, no more awful Russian renders.

This might be the best implementation of the Genesis grille so far, it's no longer the flat metal fence, but actually has a slight curvature to it that makes it blend in with the rest of the shapely body without looking tacked-on.

I do have one complaint so far though- that steering wheel ought to have that two-tone outer wrap like the GV80.

I'm pretty sure, they won't show up in US for another ~6 months. I might be wrong, though, lol

Man, this car is sick, impressive job by the design team.

Amazing - might have to go for this over the GV80....

The Germans have officially been been handed their gonads.
Hardly - I don’t care for the headlights/tail lights and the side marker lights are god awful. The silhouette and stance are nice (though heavily borrowed from the Audi A7) as is the interior.

Genesis will sell bunch of these given the price is right. I expect top trim not to exceed 65k so they leave a cushion for the G90.
Hope they don't strip down a lot of gadgets.

Areas better than the GV80...

grille
dash
steering wheel

This video does a pretty decent job doing a side-by-side comparison...

On a side note, the new G80 has been getting a pretty positive response on various auto blogs.

I only like the front better. And didn't want AWD. The interior is awful IMO. I MUCH prefer the current one, and that's where we spend 100% of the time. My main disappointment with the current one is it should be quieter, and have a dedicated manual mode, or independently adjustable settings (suspension, steering, throttle, transmission). If the new one has all of that, then I'd be in a bind. For based on those photos, I'd get a 2020 every day of the week. It now looks like a G90 now. Boring, And I'm not a spring chicken at 58. Looking forward to independent tests and see how it does dynamically, and in a real world test once available. Oh, and no way I'd even consider the first year for potential problems alone. But forget about any discounts, and possibly mark-ups. We'll see :).
