  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

SPYSHOTS: The next generation of the Genesis G80 is here

This is stunning, I prefer it to the gv80, especially the interior, no pass through under the transmission, better steering wheel overall better proportions... Now just like the gv80 it needs a sport version, exactly like the current g80 sport

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
The outside looks fantastic, interior not so much. One reason I chose the G80 over competitors back in 2018 was the navigation screen didn't look like someones IPad stuck on top of the dash.

Areas better than the GV80...

grille
dash
steering wheel

This video does a pretty decent job doing a side-by-side comparison...

On a side note, the new G80 has been getting a pretty positive response on various auto blogs.
Can I get that in English?

SHEEESH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love it! It is gorgeous and in my opinion, executes the new design direction better than the GV80 and light years better than the G90. If the G70 looks this good, I will officially have pre update buyers remorse.

Hardly - I don’t care for the headlights/tail lights and the side marker lights are god awful. The silhouette and stance are nice (though heavily borrowed from the Audi A7) as is the interior.
Making an account just to piss on this car before deleting it- great impression you've left there, German fanboy.

So far it looks utterly insane... it almost looks too good, I’m shocked. The side profile is so long, sharp and swoops elegantly with confidence. The rear looks concept-like, very thing and sharp taillights. The grille is the right shape and the size is more resolved, in person I think it will look even better. It just looks so modern, incredible proportions, clean lines.

The interior is a colossal improvement, I love how the dash flows into the doors, thin air vent, wide with clean ‘white space.’ Everything flows so nicely, it looks very elegant and cohesive. I think it will look even better in person and with all the different options. I cannot wait for the live presentation, promotional videos and to see in person. 😩😍

Well whoever is going to buy one I’m happy for you all. I hope that you enjoy it when you have it in your driveway!!

One gorgeous detail is—what I interpret—a speaker grille integrated flush with the beautiful sculptured ‘blueish’ section of the door panel:

That looks so stunning... also another attention to detail is the hood stopping above the grille; no line seperation:

I mentioned in the other thread- but the most stunning part of the grille? The lack of that awful piece of clear plastic radar rectangle that plagues every currently sold Genesis product. Not even Mercedes or any other brand could figure out how to do this without tacking it behind a huge version of their logo on the grille.

My favourite part of the whole car so far is the interior. Look at how beautifully crafted that door panel goes from flush to almost like you are going down a slide but elegantly. I love details and that’s once detail that spoke to me the fastest. Also on how the interior is nothing alike from the GV80.

But the really important question is are the cupholders now big enough to hold two travel mugs?

Wonder where the license plate goes? And where is the radar sensor?

Maybe the radar guard is just removed for the preview pic????
