One interesting implication from that link is to not get your tires rebalanced on a very cold day, especially if your car sits in the parking lot for awhile waiting your turn to get serviced. The reason is that the tire balancing process will not be done correctly if there is even a temporary flat spot on the tire.Flat spot info from tire rack. link http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tiretech/techpage.jsp?techid=42

I do not think it is the tires, flatspots are a thing of the past.
Steering wheel shaking is usually tire balancing issues. Did you have the dealer rebalance. Hyundai also has a Tom for what specific type of balancing machine the dealers should be using. Even though they are replacing the tires, ask the dealer what type of balancing machine they have.
Yes, I am sure that the new dealer balancing machine is in mint condition (and the Hyundai dealer tech employees have very little experience using it). Sounds like the dealer was forced to purchase the machine by Hyundai Motor America, and would not have done so on their own.Funny the rep actually mentioned their balancing machine. They upgraded recently per Hyundai so that they were in line with their expectations. Didn't specify what type of machine, but he mentioned that it was brand new.
thanks for these archived conversations , just got a 2014 r spec , similar wobble at highway speed.Hunter road force balance machine
