  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have some red tail light film left over from where I "redded" out the tail lights on my black Elantra. It looked really nice on it mainly because of how ugly the horizontal clear strip in the middle of the light was.

Anyone tried on the Genesis? I'm going to do some photo-shopping to gauge the appearance, but opinions are nice too. :)

Backup lights are required by law to be white. I personally prefer amber turn signals, which ususally come from the clear strip also, although red is legal for those.

Yes, I'm aware of the law. Just trying to get a feel from anyone that has done it. Any pics would be helpful.

I can't help you out too much on this thread, but I also came from an Elantra (2003) to the Genesis. Have you tried YouTube? I actually have no idea what to picture??

I think it looks good.

I like it ...really clean.

How did you solve the seeing when backing up problem?

It's not like it blocks out visible light, you can still see when backing up.
