Yeah 0-60 in 2.3 I go through rubbers real quick. Definitely more frequently than the G80. Brakes are pretty much lifetime with regenerative braking, you rarely hit the brakes unless you really need to. As for filters, there's one filter, not multiple - the HEPA one I have is recommended every 3 years.
There are two levels here. The first one is autopilot which is included in all Teslas, which steers, brakes, accelerates and has all the emergency stuff you'd expect. All the vehicles have almost two dozen cameras/sensors in total that analyze your precise driving conditions. This is really something that all manufacturers should be pursuing as standard.
The premium feature is the FSD (Full Self Driving), which is progressively improving to the point of being more and more autonomous. The car can already change lanes automatically, overtake slower cars, and recognize traffic signs. Lots more too. I get over the air updates that constantly improve all of these features. It's mainly intended for highway use now, we will see more city use with this in the future. The reason why Tesla is ahead is all of this data is being analyzed worldwide, and will improve far quicker than any other competitors.
As for Tesla owners looking stupid comment, there is no reason disparage anyone for their preferences. I'm proud that Tesla is made right here in the United States, and I look forward to them continuing to be the trailblazers in vehicle safety, technology and fun.
