  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey peeps...just finished debadging...and took some pics.
I am loving SI more and more every time I look at it. Fvck I love this car.
Debadging looks good. What are you getting for a license plate frame?

Damn that color looks hot. I wanted black but might need to reconsider. Sucks for you guys that are required to have the front plate. Thanks for the pics!

I debadged my BMW 335 and liked it. It looks great on the G70 . After you have 2-300 miles, I'll be interested in how much dust the pads throw off.

Awesome pics , Beefer. Car is stunning!! Worth the wait for sunlit photos!

Is this a trick of the light and angle or does this side of the hood not sit flush with the front panel?

Hey peeps...just finished debadging...and took some pics. Had it out this morning...trolling the strip for cars to chew up...LOL. Smoked a 340i...and toe to toe with a new S4. Fun. Stopped by the Genesis dealer that will be (not there yet)...and introduced myself to the GM, etc. Since they will be servicing it. Had about 10 employees drooling over the car.

Anyhoo...finally sunny...and here are some pics. I am doing full version which are quite large.

I didn't do any interior shots...tons of those around (posted one above).

My gear is high end...so the colors you see are what they are. Minor differences depending on what you are viewing them on.

Congrats. Beefer. Happy for you.

Love my car too.

Not sure if you are going to or don't have the time, but worth pointing out that a RAW manager like Lightroom is worth it to get the most out of your gear.

I can't speak for the Beefer but my observation is that it's probably a combination of the light plus the relatively light color of the car. If you have a black car, you won't notice the seams.

For the G70s that I've seen, as well as mine, the fit and finish for both exterior and interior is a top level and comparable to an Audi.

Shame VA requires front plates. :(

Very nice. Thank you. At this point I know you’d rather be driving than writing. Interior photos will not show how nicely done the car is inside. Enjoy!!

So...quick update after a day of playing around with the car. This car is fast. I mean scary fast. It is as fast as my last generation M3 with dual clutch (4.4 sec car).

I know the car is new...and it's still hitting me. Also the weather is an amazing 50° F and I am at a low elevation.

But...I am honestly thinking that I might not get the piggyback. Cannot believe I am saying that...as my quest for speed is never-ending. But...to be quite honest...I think I would be scared to get it. Did I say this car is f'ing fast? I simply don't see the point of having a close to 4 second car...especially around here.

Mind you...I might change my mind next week after I run into a Gulia Quad...LOL.

Anyway...just wanted to share that...as it's saying a lot for the performance of this thing. One other thing might make me change my mind. My neighbor got a Maserati. Not sure which one yet. But if he's quicker than me...might have to bite...LOL. The closed the Maserati/A.R. dealer here in Richmond...so he got a killer deal on standing stock.

One quick note...this car gets very hot under the hood. I did some mellow driving...nothing crazy. Parked it. And was showing it off to donnykidd (gorgeous H.Gray G80 Sport !!). Those two stabilizer bars under the hood (assume that is what they are) were almost unbearable hot. But other parts were not so bad. Wonder if friction from them constantly torquing caused the heat.

Anyway...off to watch Toronto kick Boston's arse ;)

Glad to know the Road and Track test in the 100 degree heat was simply a poor environment. Hoping California before the end of the year...

Beef, reading all of your posts is torture. I was hoping my G would arrive before the weekend but it's not here yet... Hopefully coming this week.

Trust me...worth the wait. What a car.

I’m going to take a few more pics that show how beefy and wide the rear looks. So sexy.

So this is off my phone camera. Fridges are pure white...

Forgot to ask...comments on debadging? Like or no? I took photos prior and photoshopped them out...so I new it would look great (IMO).

Oh...and if anyone wants to do it and has regrets...all the measurements you need to put it all back :)
