  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

$1,000 Conquest Offer
$1,000 off MSRP (by Owner)

Congrats Beefer, but we demand more pics

Rained all day...really sucked. Sunny tomorrow...so I’ll get my D700 out :)
I know the feeling. Haven't had a rain or snow free day yet since last Friday for me to take any pics!

Quick comment on my photo above. The passenger seat has the thigh extension out...driver seat does not.

So it's not like in a BMW/Audi where a piece of the seat (closest to knee) slides in/out. The G70 rolls the extension from below and slowly extends it. So there is no separation of the seat...as you can see. Quite clever. Way better than BMW/Audi...where if you have it extended...it's an awesome crumb collector.

Yeah but the downside is that it will crease super easy if fully extended. Learned that from the Nappa leather on my wife's 2019 Sorento SXL so I only have it slightly extended on the G70 to avoid the stretch and excess wear!

Congrats Bud!

Not sure what you mean. No creasing what so ever. Leather is not being stretched.

I'll take a pic later when I get a chance.
Show us some exterior pics already!

Can you take a little video, unless you know where one is out there already, that shows it extending and then coming back in? Not sure if you could attach it or not though

Make a fist with your right hand...thumb on the left.

Slowly uncurl your fingers until parallel to the ground.

The more you uncurl...the further your fingers extend.

Exactly same thing.

:)

Was wondering at first where you were going there. You are then one excited with the new car not me. :roflmao::rolf:

I think I get the idea but will take a look at NLJ's video.

Anyone else notice left side seat bolster on the driver's seat is showing creases in the leather?

I think that happens fairly easily/quickly with those. I have seen reviewers mention that their fairly new test cars had creases, don't remember which cars were being reference anymore though.

Yes, I have experienced the same issue on my G80 Sport. There were earlier posts (couldn't locate) discussing this and how to enter and exit the vehicle to minimize this condition.

Yeah because that it the only part that gets full body pressure. You can extend your knees further left than right.
The right part is protected by the center console bulkhead and tunnel. I'm sure you can wear the side bolsters on the right by pivoting your body to look back when reversing.

Hey peeps...just finished debadging...and took some pics. Had it out this morning...trolling the strip for cars to chew up...LOL. Smoked a 340i...and toe to toe with a new S4. Fun. Stopped by the Genesis dealer that will be (not there yet)...and introduced myself to the GM, etc. Since they will be servicing it. Had about 10 employees drooling over the car.

Anyhoo...finally sunny...and here are some pics. I am doing full version which are quite large.

I didn't do any interior shots...tons of those around (posted one above).

My gear is high end...so the colors you see are what they are. Minor differences depending on what you are viewing them on.

I am loving SI more and more every time I look at it. Fvck I love this car.
