If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

The Modified 2015+(DH) Genesis Thread

Very exciting man - good luck and keep us updated! Any plans to lower the car?

I have thought about it but just not sure about the ride feel after a change like that. Still debating. Wish you were closer to test drive your car to get the feel of it.

So does this mean that a liberty walk widebody kit is out?

The car handles very similar to stock, ride is still very smooth and it's well worth it for the look in my opinion.

Cane2025, Obviously it's your car so do as you wish. I really feel that in addition to there being no protection for the tire the car simply doesn't look very good with wheels that large. Looks almost cartoonish.

How did you switch the amber drls to white? And silly question, but how did you wire the fog lights? Are they constantly on or did you change the stalk? And if they are constantly on, did you just wire them up to the fuse box?

I've tried browsing the fog light thread, but it's almost information overload and everyone wants the stalk. I just want them to be always on to function like Mercedes E class drls.

the DRL's are the VLED kit that everyone uses here.. The fogs I sourced from an ebay seller (shipped from korea) then then just wired up to a 12v constant and installed a small black rocker switch in the opening where the Emergency brake switch is.. I couldn't justify the cost of the KDM lights especially knowing the issues you have to over come

It actually won't because then you'll need to run a lower profile tire.

Lowering is the best way to go to get that look.

I think anything over 20' is creeping to the gaudy side of things

I agree, I wanted the damn 19's offered on the V8 but HMA is their infinite wisdom wasn't selling those rims @ the time I purchased and now they are but the prices are nuts

correct, I think they are like $1,200 per wheel, not even including tires. You can easily get a great set of aftermarket wheels for that.

your car looks great!

Not sure where you are located but...

Thanks! I don't know how I never saw that VLED thread. I think I'm going to copy how you did the fog lights.

How did you get the LED fogs installed on the V6 model and the new DRL in place of the orange? Also would love to see more detailed pics of the wheels, they look awesome. Trying to decide between Huddleston wheels, Riyola or yours, thanks!

Well you like my wheels i'll give you a good deal as i'm looking to go in a different direction

your car looks great!

They aren't quite that bad, but still very high they are $900-ish + tax.

Last piece of information needed before ordering rims and tires.
I have the offset for the front/rear and the tires are 255/35/20 and rear is 285/30/20.
Can someone please tell me the hub size for the rims front and rears?

Hub size is 67.1 all the way around. You getting spacers? I think it's better to just get the correct offset wheels instead of spacers.

No spacers. The rims are available in different hub sizes and that is why I inquired about the correct sized hub. Thanks for the info.

Nice! Can't wait to see your setup!

I started a thread thats a quick reference on what aftermarket parts are available with respect to wheels, brakes, suspension, and appearance modifications.

Hopefully the mods will make this a sticky for those coming into this platform.

Please take some time to check it out and let me know what I missed and what can be added to make it more comprehensive.

Here's my 2015 Genesis with 20" MMR GT1 wheels. Looking into the adams rotors andsome other mods soon as I get it back from the body shop. (Some drunk ******* backed into it with the paper plates still on it a month after I bought it!) HAS ANYONE DONE A TURBO SETUP ON ONE OF THESE CARS YET???? Im wanting to do it and was wondering if anyone has already that could point me in the right direction

Nice looking ride!! With regards to the Turbo question, I know there were a couple of Hyundai endorsed shops that have done turbo setups for car-shows, but no one outside of that yet.
