  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

The Modified 2015+(DH) Genesis Thread

Here's my 2015 Genesis with 20" MMR GT1 wheels. Looking into the adams rotors andsome other mods soon as I get it back from the body shop. (Some drunk ******* backed into it with the paper plates still on it a month after I bought it!) HAS ANYONE DONE A TURBO SETUP ON ONE OF THESE CARS YET???? Im wanting to do it and was wondering if anyone has already that could point me in the right direction

looks like you are off to a good start. The issue with boosting is the lack of aftermarket support. Any custom kit would be very pricey and would greatly diminish the reliability of the car given that there isn't much of a history of modification that great on these cars. The shops that have built the cars for shows have built them for that one purpose, not so much to be a reliable daily driver.

Finally got the car back from the body shop - its nice to have the modified DH back on the road again!

Yeah mine isn't a daily driver, matter of fact i don't get to drive it much at all.I've had it for going on 5 months and all have less than 2000 miles on it. But i see your point. Prob just stick to minor mods for now. Thanks

Finally got my new wheels/tires mounted. Still waiting on the storm springs which should arrive toward the end of the month. Wheels are TSW Bathurst in a dark gloss finish. Pretty satisfied with the looks without the springs. 20's are a good wheel size on this car. Will post more pics when the springs arrive and get mounted

What size tires did you go with??

Wow looks very good! Would love to see more pictures..

looks great ACE350. those springs will really transform the look of the car!

Cant wait to see the car dropped! I want to know what look I didn't achieve by going square instead of staggered. It's gonna look so mean.

Nice car Ace350!

thanks Rloyola! your car looks awesome and I knew when I saw it, I wanted those wheels. Will be sure to post pics when the springs go on

Question for the tire tire gurus. I see Huddleston is running 255/35/20 front 285/30/20 rear on a lowered 2015 V8. Could I run the same tire on a stock springs. What would be the pros/cons?
