First I would like to give David from Carlighttrends.com a big thank you for helping me with my UNAVI purchase as well as answering all my questions. David and I talked for a good hour and half, he was very detailed in explaining to me how the UNAVI system integrates into my 2010 Genesis Sedan and just a overall good guy. I diffidently will be purchasing from carlighttrends.com in the near future.
All right boys and girls lets get into the nitty gritty, what is UNAVI its a 8" High definition touchscreen that interfaces into your non-navigation equipped Sedan this is done by a data ribbon that goes through the face of the radio. Now I understand why this product works so well, and I have to be honest I was very skeptical at first when talking to David, but as he explained to me this is how and why UNAVI products work as promised and I can tell you that they do work perfectly and work 100%. All of my original features work, I didn't lose anything at all.
The installation is straight forward as everything is clearly labeled and the instructions are very thorough, more so than what I was expecting and probably one of the best installation manuals that I have ever seen for an aftermarket product. I've done all my own work and I have installed a lot of aftermarket products over the years and the installation manual for the UNAVI navigation system is clearly the best that I have ever seen. All the cables are clearly marked and all are labeled, all I needed was just a couple of hand tools a set of non marring dash pry tools and a couple of hours later and a just about a pinte later VOLA... UNAVI INSTALLED!!
Now how good does is it look and does it work as promised, SMASHING and OH YES this kit is a beautiful and rather large as all 8" in your dash look as it should have been there from the assembly line. The fit and finish is perfect and look completely factory. Here you can see the main Radio Screen where you can control Volume, Tracks, CD/AUX, and the HVAC Controls all on the screen. Sorry the pictures do not do this screen justice.

Here is the directory screen where you can see all the system functions such as Navigation, Clock, Music, Image player, Video Player, Radio, a digital version of the owners manual, and System Settings.

Here you can see the Video Player Interface after a quick conversion of a couple of digital files into a AVI and I'm watching a High Definition Movie in my car!! And yes it does go FULL SCREEN Just brilliant!

Now here is the Navigation Setup Screen where you have the Map, Destination, and Map Settings. The following image is that of the Navigation interface, which is very easy to see in full sunlight. The maps are very easy to use and you have the option of a 3D view as well as a top birds eye view as if you are looking down on a map. POI search as straight forward and has all my local watering holes as well as all the newest venues. I would say that is is on par and just as easy to use as my previous handheld TOMTOM.

Overall I'm extremely happy with my UNAVI and again a BIG THANK YOU to David from carlighttrends.com for taking the time to answer all my questions and concerns. If had to rate the UNAVI I would give it a FULL 4 Stars, I just can not be happier and the little boss (wife) is just as happy as it is all that I said that I would be and then some more. For any others out there that have looked into this for their Genny I would wholeheartedly say this this kit is just brilliant very well put together, plus I'm looking down the road and the extra resale value that it adds to my Genesis.
Well there you have it my UNAVI Navigation System in my 2010 Genesis Sedan, cheers.
