  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Good Day to all. some might know that i have been looking to buy a genesis for about a year now. i have found one that i really like it is in the color that i am wanting. this is the link http://www.superiorhyundaial.com/Ve...enesis-4dr_Sdn_4.6L_V8-Anniston-AL/1055639913 i think that price is kinda high can someone let me know what would be a good price for this one ? 35,000 i can buy a brand new one at that price..

I guess the good news is that the Genesis is holding its value. New 2011 4.6 can be had for under $37K.

bought mine a couple of weeks ago.
2011, 7K miles on it. Driven by Dealer's managment.
$32,000
also paid $1300 for Hyundai 100K miles, 10 years, bumper to bumper 0 decductible coverage for peace of mind. I plan to keep this car for a while.
bought at Roseville Hyundai in Northern Cal.

Bought my silver 2010 4.6, 19,600 miles, two weeks ago for $29700. Perfect condition. You should be able to negotiate a 2010 with 20K miles for around $30K

You need to do some research on how to buy a used car. Asking price is usually way over the wholesale price, or even average retail selling price. Find a webiste that shows the wholesale and average retail selling price, take the printout to the dealer, and make an offer to them for at least $1000 below what you willing to pay, and then negotiate to your final price. Be prepared to spend a couple of hours in the negotiation process while they try and wear you down, and be prepared to leave without a purchase.
