Using the accent lights on 2015 Sedan as DRL's

Hello, I found a way to hook up the drl, and it works great. You have to put on the ebrake to turn them off if you are sitting in a parking lot with the engine running and the headlights off. But the dime when you turn on the headlight and the amber drl are off.

So how did you do it? Is there an easier way these days?
