  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

what are you guys getting on fill up ? the read out on the car seems pretty accurate, maybe off by +1 or -1 but overall pretty accurate. What are you guys getting ?

this is only for RWD 3.8, Not AWD 3.8, I already know AWD is as bad a 8 cylinder so don't bother posting it! :)

Sorry, but you're wrong - the AWD V6 gets better MPG than the V8...

I average 22.5 mpg in mixed driving around town and highway with the highway speed mostly around 65 mph. I have experimented some and got as high as 33.1 mpg driving 50 mph on a flat road for around 40 miles.

I'm seeing 22-24 depending on how much traffic I run into. My driving is pretty close to 50/50 city/highway.

This car gets about the same mileage as my Lexus GS 350 which is pretty good considering it is larger, heavier and the engine is slightly larger too.

I'm averaging 23.5 on my 12 mile commute... 60%hwy/40%city driving. Easy to get good mpg with this car considering the weight and engine size.
