I received a letter the other day regarding my 2015 V6 Genesis and Hyundai wanting to replace the stock Hankook tires with Michelin Primacy MXM4 tires. I have personally noticed the issue of vibration when I first start driving the car for the day, but once the tires warm up and the pressure in each evens out, it goes away and it's the smoothest ride I've ever had. As for the noise, I don't notice it.
I checked out TireRack and did a side by side comparison of the two tires. Based solely on the Consumer Survey section, it appears that the Michelin is slightly inferior to the Hankook even though Hyundai states that they will provide a "more comfortable, quiet ride".
Has anyone replaced their Hankook with the Michelin's? If so, what are your thoughts?
