Every time I have bought a new car there is always a separate warranty on the tires. But IMHO if Genesis failed to properly plan for the tires it put on the car, there could be liability there.Genesis should cover the car top to bottom. They should deal with Michelin, not the consumer of a brand new car. If they can't or wont... then other action will be taken. I wouldn't want another company (tire shop, whatever) to touch the car until I've expired all avenues with Genesis. I wouldn't want them pointing fingers elsewhere.
Genesis is the responsible party at this point.
