Hi everyone!! First post on this thread as I just picked up my CPO 2022 G70 4 days ago. I've found this site super informative while I was shopping around.

How I found Genesis...
I own a 2017 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack (6.4L). Black on black monster. Dodge has announced they are discontinuing the gas version of this car next year and is going all electric. I live in New England and this is not a winter car. I've been getting by on older used SUV's for the past few winters, but decided to get something newer this year.
Well... after shopping for used Beemers (3 or 5 series), Audi's (A5 or 6) and everything else "sporty," I remembered that there was a Genesis dealer 5 minutes from my house.

I stopped in and found a barely used CPO 2022 G70 Sport Prestige with 6400 miles on it. After 3 days of negotiation (I do not exaggerate), I am now the HAPPY and proud owner of this lovely machine.
Basically, BRAND NEW.. but at a $10k discount.

Considering some aftermarket mods, but I'd like to drive it stock for a bit first.

My Challenger is going into storage for warm summer Sunday drives. She will surely be a collector car someday soon and I'll pass it down to my (now 16 year old) son eventually.

Anyhow, I thought I'd post and join the party!

Congrats, and welcome to the club. Looks like you got a deal. ( Everyone here knows you got a great ride). All three Genesis's (Genesii?) I have owned were lease turn-ins of the current or prior year with less than 11K miles. Don't know if I'll ever buy a new car again based on the good experience I've had letting someone else incur that huge cost of depreciation by driving off the new car lot. (Of course, based on what I read about used car prices today, I could be in for a rude awakening).

That is true! But he isn't getting Velgen wheels/ Michelin PS4S tires and tuned ECU/TCU

I'll be selling everything. Wheels/tires/TPMS sensors. Tires are new Michelin PS4S's. I rather not to separate it. It's too much hustle.

I have to pass, these are not the options I was looking for, I looking for TCU pressure 1 and shift point -12%-13%.
Also I see you have a nice ride, is it on stock springs or lower?

Are you referring to the G80 sport? No, it wasn't lowered. All stock suspension. My previous '15 5.0 was lowered on ARK springs.

Discovered the rubber cover on the manual truck release has basically fallen apart. I'm not paying to fix. So do I now have to fear washing my car?

3G service stopped and I never had android auto on this car due to the Ultimate package (only regular radio was upgradeable). So I bought a Samsung tablet, put some Velcro on the back (sacrificing some native buttons being covered of course) and used Macro droid for a few automations that will allow me to have a pretty close match to Android Auto with all the usual real time traffic, calendar alerts, YouTube music, Google voice, and I can even control my interior neon lights on the screen. I still use my native gps though because of the heads up display directions. Google maps is actually a back up :/

Since I installed a catback exhaust on my G80 sport, I haven't used the audio system anymore, but your mods are nice especially the dashcam.

Thank you. I got into an accident months ago where the insurance company told me they couldn't do anything as it was the other guy's word against mine. Minor scratch, but I won't be caught without proof again.

Yeah I feel your pain, I once got braked checked by a 60 year old lady, and the cop told me are actually accusing a grandma? (I'm 25, yet I look like 16) The whole thing took several months she had lawyers and medical reports that showed nothing lol, and after 8 months all she got was 2700$ some people have nothing going on in their life so they need something to talk about and keep them busy.

Changed the oil and filter for the first time at home. Got tired of dealer and other oil change places leaving undercarriage shield bolts loose or missing. I found 5 of the 10mm bolts broken off. It was not to bad with the right tools. I drilled and re-tapped the broken bolts. Good as new!!
