I'm basically a truck driver that delivers water(5 gallon btls... etc)
Did that myself, back in the day!
It was a home grown business with about 30 customers in my local town. Sold coolers and all. An easy $400-500 a week and more if I sold a cooler.
I rented a garage at a local storage building and kept my 5 Gal. bottles in there. $35 a month
I traveled every two weeks in my 1987 Toyota P/U towing a car trailer with empty bottles to TN (2 hour trip) to drop them off and get new ones.
Loved the job and I managed to swell up pretty good in my chest and arms! If I remember correctly, a 5 gal bottle was 50lbs.
Now Im married and fat...go figure![]()

I'm a Hyundai dealer, in addition to being a partner in a Ford dealership and am working on purchasing a Nissan franchise. I'm young, but I grew up in a family with roots in the car business going back nearly 100 years. I started out mowing lawns when I was 9, which I continued until I went to college - and washed a few thousand cars on the side at my uncle's Nissan dealership. Prior to that, my great grandfather and grandfather were both car dealers. Before selling cars, I earned a Bachelor's in Finance from TCU (Go Frogs!) and a JD from GWU Law School. I joined the family business after realizing how much I hated practicing law.
I previously ran a Dodge dealership in Alvin, Texas, and purchased my Hyundai dealership (with much monetary help from my uncle) in February 2010. The dealership is Dallas Hyundai, Inc. and is located on I-20 in Dallas, Texas.
