  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

What do you think of your Genesis coupe?

Well, that'd be a bit of a problem for me. I use my remote start daily on my current car and won't buy another car without one. I'll have to look into it more and see if anybody around me can install one.

I don't know anything about that, but when it's 5 degrees outside I want/need a car that's at least slightly warm so I can get in and go to work. And being on the third floor of a condo building means I can't just go outside and start it, haha.

I just got my 2.0T Prem M/T a week and a half ago and this car is freakin' amazing!

I drive Go-karts every weekend and this is quite similar, with better seats and stereo.

The heated seats are quite cozy BTW.

i have the 2010 3.8 in red. The car is amazing. I have the art of speed package on it so it doesnt even look like a hyundai. People stop me all the time thiniking its a Maserati or Bentley, lol, its crazy. Before my genesis i had a TL and a RDX, both great cars but not as fun as the genesis. The car is a rocket after it breaks in, it is really fast. Hyundai is really stepping up their game. I had no intentions of buying a hyundai. I went with a friend of mine to buy a car for work and i saw this car sitting in the showroom and i had no idea what it was, i asked the dealer what it was and he let me test drive it, that week, i bought it :) The only problem with the car is you feel every bump (its a sports car, its normal). I was in a rush to get it so i didnt really get it the way i wanted so i took what they had, i wanted the push button start with navi and red leather, but i was inpatient. Car is great, ive had it a year now with no problems.

2.0T MT, very good looking car, enough room for my 6'4" 210 lbs frame.
Handling is good, brakes too.
Suspension is too stiff, thats with the 18" stock wheels/tires. At least for Michigan roads, car gets jumpy on uneven surfaces. Also the low profile tires are not made for the roads around here. One broken rim and tire damage due to frost heaves and potholes. Speaking of tires, the stock rears are almost done, at 21k mls!. That is commuting and not racing or something like that . Disappointing for such expensive tires. Conti DWS's are next.
The manual tranny is junk, every rental car I drive has a better gearbox (manuals in Europe). second gear goes in difficult when cold, 5th is always 'crunchy'. Dealer can't find anything. Also the drivetrain is too compliant, you can feel it winding up...

The cars biggest asset, for me at least, is that it makes me feel as if I am driving some expensive exotic car. good feeling. And man does it look good!

Do I like it? yes. will i get another one once the lease it up? no, roads are too bad for a sportscar and the tranny sucks.

WWWWAAAAAAA, get over it.
These cars are awsome.

So I should buy a car without features I want just because someone thinks it's cool? I don't think so, that is probably the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Thanks for the reply though!
