Push down on which controller to mute?
Push down on which controller to mute?
Minor thing...
Since I've had the car, about 3 months, when I started the car I held the start button (along with the brake pedal). Silly me. With your foot on the brake it only takes a quick "flick" on the starter button to start the car. The "starter" is really engaged with the brake pedal, not the starter button!

I don't sweat the mute button absence on my car because it's so easy to push the vol down on the steering wheel. One thing I do miss is the lack of a fast way to turn the Nav screen on and off, especially at night. Who needs a searchlight on the dash at night?
Sure, I can drill down in the touchscreen menu, but.... Or, maybe there is a voice command for that? No, there are 5,000 voice commands, but none to turn off the screen. Come on Hyundai!!!
How do YOU keep your screen dark?
Press and hold power/volume button on dash whether the caution screen is displayed or not and the display will turn off.

My wife was driving our 2011 R-spec and I was driving in front of her. I noticed that when she turned on the turn signal, the extremely bright daytime driving light turns off on that side making the turn signal very visible. It comes right back on after turn signal goes off.
Very nice programming.

Hmmm, thanks, didn't know that!
Unless I'm missing something, that requires 10 actions (button presses/movements) to cancel a route. You basically have to go to the nav menu, change route, select the destination, and then delete or delete all. Oh, and then you have to confirm that you really wanted to delete the route point.
Much easier to say "suspend route guidance"![]()
