  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

What things don't you like in the G70?

not in my car
I found this:
To reduce the chance of airbag- caused injuries, the system shuts off the passenger's front airbag when the total weight on the front passenger's seat is about 65 lbs (30 kg) or less. If no one is riding in the front passenger's seat, the airbag will be automatically shut off, but the indicator will not come on.

But you do have a warranty. Find out why. Seems mkozlows has one. It answers you question about the airbag going off. It should not unless needed. More important, you want it to work if needed.

And I believe it is a federal requirement for all vehicles to have this functionality.

note : I'm a very picky person and must of what I'm about to mention isn't a deal breaker and i wont stop until i have had my first accident or something take my attention of my new toy

...11- mirror is mounted on A pillar not on the door :(...
??? I don't have this car yet, but I can't imagine the door even being able to open, if there were a mirror mounted on the A pillar. Of any car, ever, for that matter. I examined the videos closely in the "build your own" site, and the mirror is clearly mounted on the door, and moves with it.

Guys, remember that @Gene70 does not have an North American spec G70. His trim and features are different than the majority on this forum.

Bears repeating. Also if folks would simply edit their profile and add their state or country it would save a lot of confusion and needless back and forth posts because of misunderstandings. You would get better help a lot faster. Is your location some kind of secret?

I have another thing I don't like about the G70 - THE DAMN KEYFOB IS TOO BIG.

For the 3rd time this week I accidentally pressed the panic button on my keyfob. After getting home I usually keep my keys+fob in my pocket. The other day I leaned up against the counter without thinking, then suddenly my car starts honking from outside. I realized I pressed the panic button by leaning against it and the counter. I look outside and see the neighbor girl walking her dog past my car and looking back at it, confused and visibly irritated. Oops.

Same thing happened yesterday, except my car was in the garage. Starts honking. Damn.

Again, today, as I was placing my daughter in her crib (she fell asleep on the car ride home from the gym), putting her down and I pressed my leg against her crib with the keyfob in it. Guess what? Car starts honking. Well shit.

Looks like I need to get in the habit of removing my keys from my pocket as soon as I get home.

Hmm. Sounds like it is time to carry a "man purse" and put the key fob in an inner pocket of the man purse where it can start the car but otherwise not be easily set off. 😎😃😎

The stinger key is awesome
Would use it if it will program to the genesis

Black duck fact:
my key doesn't have panic button(lock , unlock , remote start , trunk open)
