  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

well the stock turbo just has a standard internal wastegate on it. You could just re-route the vacume lines to an electronic boost controller.

Anyone know how much boost they are set to stock?

6psi if I remember correctly

lots of room for improvement!

I voted suspension because I have always wanted to make the car handle correct (to me) before mods. . most of the time because I want the engine to break in properly before the power begins

that seems oddly low. . I thought I read 1 bar (14psi). . my leggy turbo winter beater has 7psi and it doesn't come with a stock IC . . lol

Yea that really doesn't seem right. There is no way in hell they're making that much power with that low of a boost on a small turbo.

If it IS only 6 PSI other cars beware, since the engines supposed to tolerate as much as 29, give or take with the turbo setup of course.

I can't see the suspension being a problem especially if the cars largely only for daily driving. The summer tire option covers you on grip and the sway bars seem like they're more than thick enough. This is my opinion after doing coilovers on two other cars and basically getting sick of the rough ride over time. I'll keep the stock setup since the most I'll do is take it on the track a few times a year.

A good intercooler and replacement piping should be a great first mod (possibly a CAI or other intake type) since you want to have that stuff installed before you pro tune. If I was a balla I'd get a nice exhaust too but by nice I mean higher flowing but about as quiet as stock.

I'm definitely referring to the turbo Track edition for all of this. :D

I was at the dealer getting a service on my sedan and they just got in their first coupe. The sales rep told me they were going to do a mod on the front grille...
