  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

This is a good question and I've seen a few people discussing when their local dealership will get the 2015 Hyundai Genesis on their lot. If you've got a date from your dealer, please reply here...

Thank you!

My Canadian dealer tells me in 2-3 weeks.

Mine told me around the end of May in Toronto.

Not sure when they will hit the dealers. But as of yesterday, here on the left coast, there were 2 white and 1 gray V6 '15 sedans going thru customs and being preped for shipment to a dealer. My buddy who works at the customs/receiving shop sent me the pictures. I'm hopeing to get to go look at them today. He said the V8's should be coming in soon.

May 1st according to the GM of Holler Hyundai of Winter Park FL. They will get them in 2 days before that but not available until the 1st, I guess maybe to give them time to prep them for sale.

Interesting, Crusty. Do you know anything about what happens to the cars when they come off the boat? Is that when they slap on the window stickers? Any other operations done there?

The regional VPC's provide post-customs processing and also check the cars for defects from the ocean shipping experience. Most VPC's have a paint & body center where corrections are made and also may add on additional options not done at the factory. The cars are also washed and have the fluids filled before being loaded on trucks.

Here is some info on the Port Hueneme Center in California:

I believe that Hyundai cars made in Korea bound for FL dealers would be normally be imported into Brunswick GA. I guess they would have to go through Panama Canal and take a little longer than to west coast of US.

That's were they put on the True-Coat. Ya, gotta have that True-Coat.

Just contacted Wallace Hyundai here in Stuart Florida and the V6 models will be arriving May 1st. They have not yet been told when the V8 models will be arriving. They will contact me once they hear when the V8's will be arriving.

ksoze, that is the place where my buddy works. 3 V6 Genneys sitting in there now. They suspect there will be more on the next boat that arrives.

Awesome!

Would have liked a less obscured view of the front. I was wondering what they did with the places where the fog lights would have been. Great shots though thanks.

I was just going to say that he put the cart there on purpose blocking the view of the front headlight area lol :)

I am pretty sure there is something that looks like a light there on the V6 based on other pics I have seen. Whether it is a non-LED fog light, or some other light, or just a dummy light, I don't know. But I don't think you can tell by looking at a pic.

Hey Y'all......got a letter today from Jim Ellis Hyundai in Atlanta (we stopped there on our way to Florida in January to replace a tire that went flat) saying they will have the new Genesis in May and will have the largest inventory in Georgia.

Has anybody noticed they’ve disabled the “Build Your Own” feature on the 2015 Genesis site:confused:. Not sure what that means.

...and they have rectangle exhaust tips. I thought the US versions had circular tips. Hmmm.
