  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi all,

Here's my winter wheel and tire setup.

^ you went with 19’s? Damn. How much was that whole setup?

No, same size as original (3.3 Dynamic, 225 45R18)

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Here are the two rim choices I was selecting from. Initially I wanted the Genesis one's because of the caps, but when I saw the black one's in person I liked the look just a tad bit more. They were also $200 less then the Genesis rims which was actually the bigger deciding factor for me.

The Bullseye is nice but aren't they 8.5" wide and a slightly wacky offset?
I was given a bunch of options from Fast since the Switch wasn't available and really liked the FC07.
But Genesis came through and gave me the Genesis G003 and X-Ice3 for only $50 more than the Fast Switch and Continentals because of the shortage of the rims and tires!

Honestly I don't know about the offset. All I asked was whether they are certified to fit the G70 by Genesis and if the warranty was the same. Yes to both. They are one of the two options they have in the shop, so I don't think they would be selling them if they did not fit properly. When I first started looking they had the continental tires, but by the time I ordered my car they no longer had them. They gave me the same price for the X-Ice as the continentals.

Yeah the Bullseye was the officially approved replacement substitute for the Switch. In fact they offered the 5 year warranty on all the Fast wheels sold by Genesis!

What wheels are you guys using for a 3.3 sport package for the 225 on all four? I’m having a really hard time finding a wheel that will clear the Brembos.

Not any. +35 offset required.
+35 is the ideal setup but +40 is acceptable also since they were offering the Bullseye as a replacement for the Switch.

Pirelli Sottozero 3 and Enkei Performance Vulcan wheels from Tire Rack installed on my G70 by Quality Discount Tire (Kensington MD - great shop, by the way). Steering feel is very precise, they do follow the road surface more than the OEM Pilot Sport 4 tires. A little noisier, but more comfortable. I'm running the P225/45R18 tires. I think the Vulcan's are good looking wheels on the G70, more sport than the OEM 10-spoke.

First time posting images - I attached the photo files. If this is a problem, let me know and I'll post a link, etc.

Can you tell me the exact specs or size of these rims? They look great. Id like to see if they are avail in canada.

They are Enkei 18x8, 35mm Offset. You could call Tire Rack and I bet they can give you more details. When I purchased them through Tire Rack, the site first asks you to specify your vehicle, so they only show you the 18x8 wheels that fit that vehicle.

I don't know whether Tire Rack ships to Canada.

I am about to order the same setup from Tire Rack. Are you still happy with this setup? Are the TPMS still functioning properly?

No problems with the TPMS. I enjoy the setup. Staying with 225s all around is the best option for snow. It is great for dry handling. The only quibble is that you can overpower the tires on HARD acceleration from a standing stop. No surprises, the tires give you great feedback.

I'm very pleased with the wheels.

Awesome. Thanks!

Do you have a part number for the TPMS or did they know which ones to install?

I specified 2018 Stinger GT2 RWD as the type of vehicle and ordered the tires, wheels and TPMS. The ones they sent work fine with the G70.

The Tire Rack Invoice for the TPMS shows as follows:

Part Number: S165 20281 Description: SCHRDR 433 MHZ RUBBER V. SENSOR RUBBER VALVE PRE-INSTALLED Unit Price: $51.00 Extension: $204.00

Hope that helps.
