Wrote off a Genesis today

Wow that sucks. Are they giving you replacement value or fair market value? If the latter mind sharing?

They gave me market value of ~36000 Canadian. I bought it used in the first place and only paid ~38k, so not bad.

First of all I'm glad to hear you're okay. That must have been pretty scary for a minute there.

Secondly, complicating your decision, I believe there are incredible deals out there as Hyundai seeks to clear out the Hyundai Genesis inventory so they can start selling Genesis G80s.

However I do understand the sentiment to move in a different direction, and I can certainly express that. Please keep us informed about what you end up getting.

I am currently deploying with the Canadian Forces soon, and will have no time to car shop (i usually go to the bigger cities for deals). I did pick up a 2005 Subaru Legacy for the time being... big downgrade! lol
