There's definitely way more body roll than I would like and the tires were screaming for mercy. I also noticed the Range Rover had better turn in and less understeer than the Genesis.

around 1:40... there was a range rover (or similar) behind the genesis... the genny was squeeling and the range rover was like no big deal... no body roll no tire noise nothing.

what we don't know is what tires they're using, if they are putting MPG saver tires on it, well, that's to be expected.

As far as Range Rover, nobody cares what fuel economy it gets as long as it can put over 500hp down...and it doesn't have a 10 year warranty to worry about either.

Either way, only time will tell what we're actually going to get, and most of us will never push the car that hard anywhere anyway.

There's definitely way more body roll than I would like and the tires were screaming for mercy. I also noticed the Range Rover had better turn in and less understeer than the Genesis.

Not worried much about the tire squeal since it depends on how hard the driver was taking the corners/bends (as well as the shod tires); when Lexus was testing the GS at the 'ring, one could hear a lot of tire squeal as well and the GS has gotten good reviews for its handling.

There, however, is more body roll than I would like to see but there is still plenty of time for Hyundai engineers to work that out (would be a shame if the Cadenza cornered flatter than the Genesis).

Don't really think pricing really plays a part in whether a vehicle exhibits a lot of body roll; plenty of cheaper vehicles which corner flat.

The pre-refreshed E Class exhibited a good amount of body roll, but with the MCE, MB greatly improved the handling where it is now pretty respectable.

I'd pre-order this thing in a heartbeat.

People can complain all they want about its similarities to other cars from the outside, but I see no different in the current Genesis and it's been a part of its appeal from the jump.

In the pics posted by SimpsonTide985 I wonder how the car will look once a license plate is plastered to the nose? Where is it supposed to attach anyway? I'm not a fan of tall Audi-esque grills in the first place; it's going to look even more disjointed with a lic plate clobbering the lines.

edit: I just noticed a skinny "GENESIS" front plate on the second pic... a typical US lic plate isn't going to fit into that spot.

Agreed. The Audi grills style will be a short lived fad. A few years from now they will make the BMW "Bangle butt" look like nothing. Might even cause convulsions and losing ones cookies in disgust in the future.

Steering wheel photos appears that the outer shape of the emblem covered by tape is the Genesis Wings.
