  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I just picked up a 2012 Genesis 4.6 and was made aware of these 18" V8 Wheel cap sets with the wings on them. Someone here posted a link to a set of them:

And there are tons of them on ebay; here is one set that also includes the hood and trunk badges as well:

My question is, are all these the same product, or is there and "official" or OEM piece? I am mainly interested in the wheel caps.

See page 2 of this thread. It explains how to install. Oh....and congrats on the car:)

You really only need the actual center of the center cap. Saves a bunch of money.

$33 with shipping OEM product. If you search Ebay longer than I did, you may find them cheaper. Think I paid around $23 for mine with shipping a few years back. I can remember a few members forking out almost $300 for what the product in your link is back in 2009:eek:

I would Buy the 18" waffle set. It's not expensive now. Unless you have the tools and you are handy the savings are not much now.

Hey thanks for that info. But if I understand, they don't just snap in and you do have to do some work to get the new ones installed. Since it looks like I can just buy a set of the entire caps for $80, it only saves about $50 now days. And then I could try to sell the old caps.

Hey thanks. If I wasn't so slow typing, I'd have finished my last post and saved you some time;)
