  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Even if you're wrong (I doubt it as well), there's no reason to stop posting. Personally, I don't think there's enough traffic here as it is. There's such an abundance of BS on car forums you'd never visit any of them if that's all it took to shoo you away. It got so bad on one particular MB board that I actually did quit the site, due to a juvenile presence that just ruined it. Let's not let that happen here.

Thanks. You make excellent points.

That side profile has me feeling..meh

In my opinion, the 2015 Genesis is targeting the Audi A7 in its styling. Saw one of those in-person recently. It's a beautiful car. If the new Genesis comes close, that's fine with me.

I'm hoping Hyundai doesn't try to target Audi with exterior styling. I'm not a fan of Audi styling in any of their cars. Now, I do love the LEDs they incorporate and is being copied by everyone, but, otherwise I just don't like an Audi's sheet metal.

Curious why the pictures were removed by admin saying people's careers are at stake when the same images are on legit sits like motor trend.

Is this some sort of set up by Hyundai to really blow us away when the real 2nd generation is finally released?
Or is the current design Genny taking too much thunder and sales from the Equus?
Maybe the photo image shown was stretched...definately it
does not wow me. If this is it, I'm glad I didn't wait to purchase one.

I would have been happy to purchase the current model had it had more modern looking interior. From the looks of these pictures of exterior I don't think even modern looking interior would have motivated me to buy this.

The overseer of the photo shoot contacted us directly. We spoke with that person and came to an agreement in order to keep things smooth everywhere.

Personally, I love all of the audi styling especially the A7. The president of my former company drove that for his winter car and its lovely :)

Sounds like phar44 was truthful, yes? Some have questioned his veracity. Me? I'm just happy to see the new Genesis.

So it's ok for it to be on motor trend, auto guide, nearly every online blog but not this site, very interesting.

I don't think so, he claimed it was taken in LA whereas it was taken in Korea.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!

Didn't see that proven yet. Makes little difference 'cause phar44 brought it here first AND it is the 2015 Genesis. Those who questioned that have been proven wrong.

Well according to autoguide they were taken in Korea and they were first released on a Korean website and I tend to trust them more that some guy claiming he took them and then never came back.

With that said I could be wrong but it just seems weird he disappeared.

Read it again.

"A photo that appears to show the redesigned 2015 Hyundai Genesis has hit the web, LIKELY taken in the car’s home market of Korea where the new Genesis will be unveiled sometime before the beginning of 2014."

So they are guessing as well because they don't know. ;)

Did anyone save the third pic he posted? I can't find that one anywhere else. It should be possible to figure out where the picture was taken based on items in the pictures.

I don't know for sure, but the fact that the pics were removed from this website, and a member claimed to have taken them (or got the pics from someone else who was), suggests that a member of this forum is the source of the pics (directly or indirectly) and is the one who asked them to be removed. If this forum had merely copied the pics from someplace else, I don't think there would be any basis to remove them. That is why the other sites who copied them from here are not going to be taking them down.

I have all 3 if you want them, PM your email address.

Good catch I missed that
