I don't think Hyundai Motor America has ever released final pricing until just before cars were available to dealers. I think we are 45 days away from that for 2015 Genesis sedan. Pricing is not based merely on cost, but also competitive factors, so they want the best information they can get regarding the marketplace before the finalize the prices.Hyundai U.S. needs to get out in front of all these pricing rumors and speculation so as to not kill the demand before the car is here.
In the case of the 5.0 AWD, that car has not even been announced yet for the US market, and if it ever is announced, it is rumored to be available in later summer, so final pricing will probably not be until that timeframe. From what I have heard it will be a "performance" model, so not exactly the same as the Canadian or KDM 5.0 AWD. With highway mileage at around 19 MPG, I don't see much demand for it.
