By using manual shift mode and putting the transmission in the gear that gets you the right rpm's for the speed you need to be driving, instead letting the automatic transmission select the gear.
One thing you don't want to do is drive it at the same RPM for long periods for the first 600 miles (avoid using cruise control). Driving at 1800-1900 RPM is fine, so long as you accelerate to a higher RPM every few minutes, and then slow down again. My 2010 4.6 genesis cruises at 50mph @ 1600 rpm and 70mph@1900 rpm. Driving the car aggressively is actually better than babying it, so long as you stay away from redline during first 600 miles. Also, make sure to let the engine completely warm up before driving it hard.im just a lucky guy then cuz i run the dog s%#t out of my car the first three monts i have them
know i ment brandishin or bed-in other word for it. it depends on your brakes if you dont brandish it will cause the systoms you just mentioned

Huh? You can't just make up words and add your own definitions. The word you are trying to remember is burnishing, not brandishing. Beyond that, as I said earlier, Hyundai does not recommend it.
Bought a new BMW some years ago in Frankfurt via the military PX system. Drove it like hell as far as Utrecht, Holland before it needed the front brake rotors resurfaced. Learned my lesson the hard way during the first few hundred miles.
Welcome, I am also on the Treasure Coast and purchased my 2014 6cyl Genesis from Wallace in Stuart. I was told by sales that there was no break-in period, after a few weeks we completed a 1500 mile round trip. No problems car is great one of the bestSomeone here posted that it was 600 miles. Can anyone direct me where this is in writing?
