I drove on a zig-zag back road the other night and the heads-up display displayed yellow road signs showing the upcoming corners as I approached them. There were right and left arrows and also a zig-zag sign as I approached a tight "S" curve. I though that was pretty neat.

If nav voice is not muted, you'll also get a "curve ahead" vocal warning in advance of the indicators appearing in the HUD - how far in advance is tied to your speed.

Always: tested this myself today at the dealer and unfortunately, this feature does not exist/work.

On a related note, we decided to get one and the dealer is locating a 3.8 AWD Ultimate for us. Have posted our price in the 'Prices Paid' thread.

LED fog lights do not come on this $50K car, only the 5.0?

Correct - no fogs at all in any US 3.8's. Fogs only come with the V8.

Like others I too will be waiting for an aftermarket or a foreign import kit [mostly because I would like the fog switch to be integrated into the lights stalk].

Someone on this forum lifted it up and didn't find any obvious connections / wire harness etc...
Yeah, weird decision on Hyundai's part.

When in navigation mode and a toll is coming up first a “Toll Road” appears in the HUD as a square box then as you approach closer a real toll booth icon appears in the HUD.

Another "like". If you manage to leave you key in the trunk, as I have done multiple times now, the car beeps at you as soon as you close the trunk and saves you the frustration of getting in the car and trying to start it.

Can anyone tell me if when playing music from a flash drive on random will it keep on random after car is turned off. I had a 2009 4.6 and currently have a 2012 4.6 and I have to reset random every time I shut the engine off. I know this is a minor complaint but it gets very annoying when it should be able to keep the setting when wanted.

When a phone call comes in on Bluetooth or I make a call, if the aircon fan is high, it turns it down so the cabin is quieter. Very sweet!

My Ultimate stays on random (Shuffle) once set through shutdowns and startups.

Found out something new on the car that I did not know about today when my wife & I stopped in at the dealers this morning to check out some new colors we haven't seen yet.

Inside the trunk, mounted in the center on the ceiling, is a hinged bracket that has two large hooks on it that swings down and are then visible when standing behind the car. This was even on the base model.



They are for hanging grocery bags onto. How many times have you had your can goods rolling around the trunk when you didn’t take the time to tie the bag. This is an awesome little item that they added, thinking of the consumer.

We seen the Marrakesh Beige and Parisian Gray colors today. Two colors we haven't seen yet. Didn't like the Marrakesh Beige but the Parisian Gray was awesome. They had one in the showroom as well as one outside and we found it to be as good as the Montecito Blue. It is nothing like the Empire State Gray color what so ever.





For those who haven't seen one in person, I highly recommend checking one out when your local dealer has one come in.
