  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Yep. It looks perfect and cool too.

I talked and discussed with PrecisionLED about the length of the LED being too long and would fall off from its wedged connector eventually.
Well they listened (great CS, BTW) and sent me a new replacement pair about half shorter and at least 1.5 BRIGHTER :D (which I like) at no cost.

Harrier vs Genesis

It has been such a nice and beautiful fall day here in Eastern N.C.
Caught an AV8-B hovering almost on top of my baby who was being washed at that moment and its sound was deafening LOUD!

What part? Was in Greenville one time at ECU, and an Osprey kept going overhead, I think maybe giving rides out of Cherry Point or something.

^
Cherry Point MCAS.
Besides the Genesis.
Caught my other baby performing touch and go (perhaps on training).

And even that, it was done long ago.
Thanks for the link anyway which may come handy for some later on.[/QUOTE]

No problem, glad you liked the link and it may be useful to others too as it's the same process to remove either badge.

^A nice and clean rear end.
May be someday mine will be as clean.

Question: What is the best place to buy the trunk emblem...I see lots of listing on amazon and ebay, and am confused. Some say that they come with protusions, others do not.
Any pointers will be appreciated.
Thanks

Ordered mine on Amazon prime. 15 bucks. It will be here tomorrow so I will report back...

Badge received from Amazon today. It is a genuine Hyundai part in the original packaging. It, like all the others, has two posts that are not in the correct location for the U.S. cars. It does not matter where you buy from this is going to be the case. The posts came off with no problem art all. I just pulled them off with a pair of pliers then used a sharp pocketknife to clean up the area. I tried to remove the original badge with fishing line without using an blowdryer, as it was pretty warm outside. This was a failure. Broke my line a couple of times so I did what I should have done in the first place. After heating it up for a minute the fishing line cut right through. The hardest part of the project was getting all the glue residue off but a little elbow grease later it was ready for the new decal. I used a couple pieces of scotch tape to hold it in place as I got it exactly where I wanted, removed the backing and stuck that puppy in place. One observation I have, you had better get it right the first time because once it sticks to the car it is not moving.
