Genesis 2015 3.8 RWD wiper blades

How is everyone's driving so far ? I hope AWD enjoy the snow
I think it's time to change my wiper blades , it's only around 5 months, but I can see they start to miss some spots and doesn't perform same as they was brand new.
I searched topics , but didn't see anyone started anything about 2015 wiper blades so far.
I researched the net and found that , there are new kind of blades which performs well under speed. The name is Trico Force High Performance.
I used to use RainX Latitude all the time and some times I changed at dealership to original ones.
Just wanted to hear what everyone else is using and experience with the blades you are using.
And also if anyone has used those Trico Force blades , if so how did they perform?

As soon as you shut the car off push the wiper stalk up and hold till the wipers come up. Then lift and clean the blades. I sometimes use an alcohol pad.

I do that all the time I wash my car. I take good care of my dear love [emoji12][emoji18]
She's washed almost every week, sometimes twice a week
I did deep paint cleaning with speedy prep towel and IronX
The speedy prep towel works as clay bar, only easier to work with as it made from rubber.
I did confounding any swirl mark removing , coated the windshield and paint with Pinnacle Black Label coat, and after I put different kind of waxes and gloss boosters , I never washed her at public car washes , always do myself with two pocket washing. I never dry with towels I bought powerful Master Blaster Air Force One 8 HP blower
I do treat the blades with rubber and vinyl cleaner and sealant
She's just shiny and very well water beading , sometimes I even don't need wipers at all
But under FL heat the rubber is not the same as brand new

Well looks like the wiper blade question is not that popular
I was hoping to get some feedback how other wiper blades perform , but .... nada
I'll try them , the new technology Trico blades. If anyone needs a feedback , let me know.

Any "fancy" wiper blades such as Bosch Icons are waste of money. They'll last 5-7 months. Ask me how I know, lol

You definetly go above and beyond!!!!! I guess you just need new blades lol..... Maybe the treatment on the glass interferes with the rubber the blades are made out of???? Or its just time for new ones. I never really buy into the super expensive replacements.

What are you using now? You think the factory original are better than those fancy ?

No, those glass treatments help the blades slide over smoothly and quietly, just under the heat they don't last that long. I assume the same is in cold climates.
Those what I would like to try not super uber expensive
$15 each, but as they say they perform good in high speeds , they are pressed on the windshield and clean everything dry
What kind are you using and how long they last?

Thanks , I read about them , the feedbacks was pretty high
Just visited Costco on weekends , they were on sale, only thing the smallest size they had was 19" for passenger side. But we need 16" as I saw in Bosch website.

I just replaced them with Michelin's ~6.xx dollars each. (Home Depot specials!)

Even if I have to change them every 3-4 months, it still will be a better deal than Icons.

If they are just blade replacements you can always buy the 16" and cut them down. Make sure you cut the excess off the back end. If it is a complete blade no deal.... I haven't changed my blades yet and I haven't changed a blade on my last 3 Mercedes leases....

Nice I actually never tried to look for wiper blades in Home Depot , have to check what we have here

As noted above, the Bosch don't last past 6-8 months but when they are new they are awesome. The Rain-X ones are great as well and last a little bit longer. The heat down here in South Florida really kills the life of them. No matter what brand you use.

Normal maintenance items (#) are warranted in normal service,
only when the replacement is the result of a defect in
material or factory workmanship, for 12 months from the date
of original retail delivery or date of first use, or 12,000 miles,
whichever occurs first, or up to the first scheduled maintenance
replacement interval. (# - such as belts, brake pads
and linings, clutch linings, filters, wiper blades and all bulbs,
except halogen bulbs which are covered up to 3 years from
the date of original retail delivery or date of first use, or
36,000 miles, whichever occurs first.)

Did not know about the blades , thanks for letting that know , the original blades not that bad at all, can't complain nothing about them.
Turns out the RainX lasts longer, these I always used so far
Didn't have any Bosch , but I agree with you , after 5-6 months most of them starting to give up.
Just got my order from Amazon, those Trico Force , installed, and really like them so far.
Tried them use around 70 mph, and I never expected to clean that good, usually at those speeds all windshield is still splashed with water , now with them it's dry with one forward / back swept. There is a few drops , but a lot less than any I had before.
Let's see how long these will last, but I am not putting more than 6 months anyway.

Best blades I have ever used are Valeo. I have them on my Audi and they are amazing. I want a set for my 2015 Genny, but I have been unable to locate them. I bought the Audi set from TireRack.

i had wiper issues 1 month into owning..got the crap that our wipers was a dealer only item..the sizes are the same as for a 2014..oil filter is the same as any hyundai with a 3.8 block (cant speak for the 5.0)

I'm using trico force flex or something like that..took 10 secs to swap..problem solved

Hmmm... I read that as wiper blades would be replaced in the first 12 months ONLY if there was a defect in material or factory workmanship. I don't think that worn out wiper blades fall into that category!
