  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

2015 Genesis Sedan Reviews

If that's all she can find to complain about (SIX count them SIX LED bars in the taillights, she put her can in the cupholder crooked, and the Bluelink/Google search wouldn't find a site that's out of the country and therefore probably out of the default search area), then it must be a great car!

In some of the shots it looks like the taillights and license plate lights are on, so I think she's driving with the parking lights on.

Yes, she is running with the lights in the "parking lights" setting. The front LEDs plus tail lights and license plate lights are on with this setting. I usually run with this setting during the day because I like the LEDs better than the amber DRL.

The 8 safest cars of 2015

2015 Hyundai Genesis

“With respect to active-safety features, the 2015 Hyundai Genesis has now caught up to the best from Germany, Japan, or Detroit.”

The Genesis serves as the flagship luxury model for Hyundai’s range of vehicles; but it deserves to make shoppers’ shortlists as much for safety as for features and creature comforts, The available Automatic Emergency Braking system that’s available in the Genesis, as part of the Technology Package, is one of the few active-safety systems to be rated as ‘Superior’ in IIHS testing. Furthermore, the fully optioned Genesis has a critical mass of active-safety items (what Hyundai calls the Sensory Surround Safety System), including things like Blind Spot Detection (BSD), Rear Cross-Traffic Alert (RCTA), and Lane Change Assist (LCA)—as well as Lane Keep Assist (LKA), which will actually make mild steering corrections to help keep you in your lane if attention lapses.

This is a bit of an oldie, and I don't *think* it's been posted previously (I'm semi-clueless at searches), but:

2015 AutoGuide.com Car of the Year winner

Not a lot of new information on the vehicle, but interesting that it won against some pretty nice iron.

It's phenomenal how much Hyundai improved the second generation Genesis over the first. That's not to say the first generation is, in any way, bad! It's just the second adds so much quality. And is now pretty much considered - across the board - as a "true" luxury car. It's not just entry-level luxury anymore. It has everything - and all the quality - you could ask for. The ONLY thing missing - is a brand! But that would surely add another $5000 onto the price tag. So is the brand needed? Well, that's up for another discussion - many which are already being had here at the Genesis Owners Group.

But, seriously. Congratulations, Hyundai. The Genesis is top notch...

Good news they have some attachment to the Genny and are willing to make the good call. Too bad the production and personalities (they should get a new profession) ain't making it.

I'm still shocked and surprised that most of the world got all the bells and whistles of this new car while North America got the less amount of options. Why in the world did Russia get what America can't. [emoji45]

Marketing.

Please consider that the car typically costs appreciably more in those markets as well. Tradeoffs! That being said, it would have been cool to order some of these features a-la-carte.

Here is an Australian review, not very meaty but does heap praise on the 2015 Genny. Oh and interesting line at the end in reference to the LS460.

Where's the beef (link)?
