  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey all,

I have these posted in the large Dynomax VT thread but I figured it would be nice to create a separate thread for users searching for exhaust videos. My car is a 2010 4.6 with Dynomax VT's in place of the stock mufflers, MSA secondary cat deletes and an R2C intake.

Hey when you deleted your second cats, what did u replace them with?

MSA makes test pipes that replace the OEM secondary cats. I originally ran the VT's with OEM secondary cats and the car was a bit quiet for my tastes. With the MSA secondary cat deletes it's just right and you still get all of the benefits of drone free Dynomax VT cruising.

You can probably get an exhaust shop to fab up some test pipes but I doubt most people can get it done cheaper with proper flanges and new exhaust gaskets:

Any drone?

Would have been a huge bummer if that truck pulled out in front of you!

Haha, he was waiting for me to pass as I was just talking to him prior to recording.

Sounds good. Distinctive tone from my 4.6. Probably less noisy while cruising inside too.

Yeah it basically makes no noise at cruise. If I dip the throttle a tad to speed up on the highway the intake is significantly more audible than the exhaust until you hit a certain throttle percentage.
