  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Price Paid For 2015 Genesis

MSRP was $52,859 on my '15 5.0 w/o ultimate pkg
I paid $42,998 with discounts & incentives

How much was the regular, dealership discount?
$8,647 discount. I was also advised they used "flex coupons." Some kind of limited manufacturer rebate (based on volume sold) they can use with discretion. Traded my '12 Equus to purchase my '15 5.0 on 6/12/2015.

There are some seriously amazing deals going on here. Congratulations, everyone!

My dealer in center jeresy dont even have test drive Genesis 2015. Where are you guys getting 42K/ 43K AWD ULT. No other website showing that number. Most of them show 47 and above.

Anybody know what invoice price is for 2015 Genesis 3.8 w/ tech package?

Just went to a dealership this afternoon, and thought I can get a better deal. They offered me $46k + TTL, which is pretty much sticker MSRP lol. Did not feel like negotiating too much since I wanted to catch the finals haha. After reading some posts here, looks like there's definitely a lot of wiggle room...

Any recommendations on dealerships around southern California? The dealership I visited yesterday first quoted me on a dealer "mark up" and I called them out on it, and said that I just want to know what the actual MSRP, so they ended up taking off the mark up, but I don't really want be dealing with this kind of stealership from the get go.

I have had my 3.6 tech rwd for just about a month. MSRP was $46,605. Final cost out the door was $41808 but they paid TT&L so they sent me a check for $1465 so my purchase price ended up at $40,343.

What are you looking to buy? V6? V8? Signature, Tech or Ultimate?

Howdy - 1st post, 1st Hyundai; $11,040 off msrp for a '15 3.8 RWD Signature, using an E-plan discount given to me by a buddy. The deal was a no-brainer. Very happy with the car so far :)

Welcome! Sounds like you got an outstanding deal!

Looking for the V6 RWD w/ tech package.

I think you should give TrueCar.com a try before you do anything...

Welcome. Are you getting price quotes from TrueCar.com yet? That's a good place to start...

Thanks for the advice.

I walked through the TrueCar.com wizard and there is just one dealer in my area (more than 100 miles away). Am I at a disadvantage concerning negotiation because there's only one dealer?

Do you negotiate with the TrueCar value? The number TrueCar.com gives is an average. Of course, I'd like to spend below the average. Is it just up to be now to try to get the dealer to go even lower?

The TrueCar.com number is a darn good start.

You can always try to negotiate lower. I did. Took the dealer less than an hour to find the exact car, arrange delivery, etc. the next day and match my requested price.

Good Luck!

Exactly. TrueCar.com allows you to go INTO the dealership with a great starting point. If they want to sell a car bad enough, they'll go a little lower.
