Have they offered anything in compensation? I love my Genesis, but the fact I paid 40k for a car that has issues 3 months after buying it has me incredibly frustrated.
I just got a call from them.
We've talked about compensation before, but they don't want to fully address it until the problem is totally fixed - and I agree with that.
Also, they want the District Parts and Service Manager to meet and drive with me next week which I look forward to. Supposedly he's driven or ridden in it before and pronounced it fixed. NOT!
This has uncovered the first problem I've found with Genesis not being a separate brand. The tech and service managers who've driven my car have commented on what a "nice car" it is apparently because they haven't really spent much time driving one before, resulting in them thinking it rides and sounds much nicer than the cars they're used to. Consequently, even a vibrating Genny still rides nice and they think it's fine.
PS: By HMA's count my car has been out of service for 35 BUSINESS DAYS! Apparently, they don't even count all of the weekends it's been missing from my driveway. I'd call that excessive.
I do have to say they haven't given up, but it's hard to keep any confidence in the process.
