If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. No you can't - quite the deal as they clear out the 2015's. Congrats!

Been following this forum for past 6 months, just joined today after purchasing 2015 V6 AWD Ultimate in Empire State Gray with black interior.
Had to get out of an ailing '06 Audi A8 quickly, I couldn't wait any longer for 2016's so I will have to survive without fog lights.

MSRP: $52,650
Price Paid OTD: $46,728

Will pick up at the dealer in 3 days.
This dealer has had the same four 2015 Genesis's on the lot for months, so maybe I could have done better, but I'm not a good negotiator.

Good deal - as an early adopter, I paid $49K + tax for the same car in May of 2014. BTW - You can pretty easily add the OEM foglights and controls to your 2015 if you are so inclined.

working on a 5.0 ultimate right now - are there are decent dealers that want to close a good deal and just ship it to me, this is like a bad root canal with my local dealerships.

What's e plan circle? Sick deal

We paid $53,000.00 for a 2015 AWD Genesis with all option packages. However, this price also included an insurance package that takes our bumper to bumper warranty out to 100,000 miles no time restrictions. This supplemental insurance is transferable to another owner. There was another road hazard insurance for the tires also that was part of this same price. There are far too many computers and gadgets in this vehicle for me to take a chance on for the serviceable life of this vehicle. Come trade time we will probably have far less than 100,000 miles on this unit and the insurance makes it a sure bet for the next owner in our minds. Just hoping they put AWD in the 5.0 Eques by 2017. Understand I do not pay for anything up to 100,000 miles that is not a standard wear item. So I only buy tires, light bulbs if they should burn out and brake pads. So all that high tech stuff and all the things covered for the shorter of the factory warranties are now out to 100,000. The cost of this secondary insurance was approximately $3,000.00. So if you drop all the protection costs we would have paid $50,000.00 but at trade time lost much more in my humble opinion. Figures rounded to the nearest 1,000 in this reply.

The Hyundai Circle discount / E-Plan is a special plan people who work in the Hyundai Headquarters receive. Each employee is limited to two, but the discount depending on the car and trim, is anywhere from 7k to 14k off of MSRP. So if you work for Hyundai (in the headquarters), work with them or have a family member that works for them you can receive this discount. Dealership employees are exempt from this I think.

I also got the 5.0L standard package priced and it was priced at a discounted price of ~37k.

What's hpp?

Hyundai Platinum Protection. Factory B2B warranty out to 100k/10yrs avail on a car you bought new or as a CPO.

We paid $53,000.00 for a 2015 AWD Genesis with all option packages. However, this price also included an insurance package that takes our bumper to bumper warranty out to 100,000 miles no time restrictions.

I hope that was a 5.0 because if not you paid sticker price for the 3.8AWD Ultimate and have a non-Hyundai extended warranty.

The cost of this secondary insurance was approximately $3,000.00.

HPP would have cost you $1200.

So if you drop all the protection costs we would have paid $50,000.00

Again - I hope that was for a 5.0 - otherwise you didn't get much of a deal at all.

HPP is available on any Genesis that is still under the bumper to bumper factory warranty.

Hey everyone...new member here!

Last night I leased a 2015 Genesis AWD 3.8 V6. It has the Signature & Tech Package. It is Empire State Gray with the black interior. MSRP was 49,135 and I don't have the selling price in front of me but I believe it was around 44,000. I also then qualified for $1,000 competitive lease incentive and they also used the $2,250 lease cash incentive that is available this month. I do know that base MF was used (.00036 I believe?) and the RV was 56% or 57%. My payment is $489/month with zero down so they paid my first months payment. The lease is 12K miles/year and a 36 month term. I also have 1 payment left on my other lease (Ford Edge) and I wasn't going to have 2 lease payments even for a month so they are writing me a check for my last lease payment on my other vehicle as well. I also negotiated the Genesis wings logo in it so they can put that on the back in place of the Hyundai "H" logo.

I am satisfied with how it went and can't wait to drive this thing over the next 3 years. I look forward to reading all about my new vehicle here. I never would have guessed that I would ever own a Hyundai but the more research I did the more everything pointed to it being a great value for what you get.

Hey Everyone,

I have been following the 2015 Genesis for about a year now, and was waiting on the 2016's to drop before purchasing the 2015. I am looking for a used Genesis with the Tech Package for less than $33k, and less than 30k miles. However, this is my first time buying a car, and so I have a couple of questions:

1. Would it even be possible to obtain a used (or even new) Genesis at this price, and with this package in 2015?
2. Would it be better to wait until Q1 2016 to get an even better deal, or would finding used 2015 tech packages be too difficult?

I would be real wary about purchasing a 2015 with even 20K miles at this point. That would be a lot of miles on a still relatively new car. You should be able to get one for $33K with quite a few less miles than that.
