OK guys, Gen2 adjustment:
#1 Phillips driver with an 8" blade, like this
Now notice the white nylon "funnel" like device and the molding on the engine compartment cover with U and D next to the arrows.
Turn in the direction of the arrow to move the light in the desired direction.
This picture shows the half of the bevel gear set your screwdriver will mesh with and move.
The meshed driver will move the same thing the wrench on the backside will, but it is ever so much nicer to adjust with a long screwdriver.
Here is the driver meshed with the gear and ready to adjust the left side lamp.
And finally, the same thing for the right side adjustment
Firm pressure on the screwdriver and twist until the results are what you want. The molded direction arrows indicate to me at least, that this is the way the real techs at the dealership do it. No need to remove covers, air cleaner, or brace.
