I was wondering in your exhaust work if those are indeed the original cats welded in, and if so, why you didn't go with a "test pipe" or second cat removal? I would think it, along with some kind of CAI (which I too am eager to see) would help the v8 breath a lot better.
By the way, white really is the faster colour (although the blue and grey one's I drove were v6's, and I bought the v8)![]()
Not Huddleston but I bet I can hazard a guess of an answer. I believe it was for two reasons. First of all I believe the other car in his stable is a 800+ hp Shelby Mustang, so the performance "bug" is satisfied by that. The other reason is likely a desire to completely return the car to the serenity and quietness of the stock car at will. A couple of people who've gotten exhausts on the 1st generation have taken them off because they wanted to return to a stock experience.
