2015 3.8 Ultimate:

1. Noisy pano sunroof (never completely fixed)
2. Whirring/clicking noise at 30mph when cold
3. Exterior door trim pieces not staying attached
4. Battery completely failed at random overnight

#4 happened to me randomly last week. I would press the start button and it would crank and crank but it wouldn't start. I popped the hood, looked at the engine cover, and closed the hood and it started right up. I literally did nothing except open the hood and look at it. I didn't touch a thing. I'm sure the problem wasn't hood related as I never open the hood except for service. Most random thing.

Do you care to elaborate on #3?

Replaced tires
Totally dead battery (replaced)
Sometimes a banging noise from the rear of the car under acceleration, but I can’t pin it down.

I loved my previous RSpec, but my 5.0 is the best one yet, and I have had a few.

have had the car for almost a year...and nearly 10k miles. only issue so far has been a leak in one of the windshield washer fluid lines.

You may want to clean/tighten your terminal contacts if you haven't yet.

Did/does the instrument panel provide a battery load warning light as the battery is failing?

Roof rattle. Replaced with updated part # under warranty.
XM not holding subscription after shutting off car. Replaced entire head unit under warranty.

25,000 miles.

Car is at the shop. Been there for a week. Should get it back tomorrow.

1. Distorted windshield. At the glass shop now.
2. Tires out of balance. Two could not be balanced and had to be replaced.
3. Rotors warped or rusted. Resurfaced.

UPDATE: Just heard from the dealer. Apparently they will be able to balance all tires. They just need to start from scratch and remove the tires from the rims.

About 23,000 miles:

The only problem I've had is sporadic misfires under heavy acceleration (there are a couple of threads on here describing similar issues). Dealership could not reproduce.

I've also had all of the recalls/campaigns done, which are usually done during routine service visits.

You can do that in about 30 seconds with a screwdriver.

All of a sudden mine has developed a number of small issues:

First 2k Miles:
1. Alignment off at delivery, fixed under warranty
2. Odometer went blank then reset to 0, instrument cluster replaced under warranty

Now at 8k miles, have not had a chance to take it in but will in the next two weeks:
1. Panoramic Roof starting to rattle all the time
2. Driver AC dash vent blowing out heat even when climate is in "sync" and passenger side is ice cold
3. Steering wheel squeaks when turning left, silent when turning right.
4. Rear power window switches on driver's control intermittent and do not work unless pressed multiple times.
5. Trip odometer and gas mileage reset at 1/2 tank, has not recurred
6. Smart key has started to not open door, maybe low battery but no indication on dash yet.

I am starting to become very concerned about this car and its reliability.

PS, I checked the build date on my car, it was a Monday in Korea...wonder if it was after a holiday weekend or something and the line workers were hung over!

There is a lot of us. Car forums are a bad place to statistically analyze a cars reliability. Many are driven to internet boards by issues and many are just car people who want to see whats up. For every one here with an issue there may be 1000 driving problem free unaware this board exists.
