  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

@Aquineas

The car came with a body color roof. I like the look of the gloss black roof of the 2015/16 version so I had it wrapped.

This is the original stock everything from the dealership:

And this is after modding.

Funny story about the body molding. I had a little rock chip a month after purchasing the car. Tried to fix it using a paint kit but it didnt turn out nice enough so I purchased a custom made side molds with chrome strip in the middle (body color) Made the car look a little less boring IMO

Picked this beauty up on Friday. '15 3.8 HTRAC with Sig/Tech Packages in Casablanca White. Loving the car so far! I'll have more pictures in my buying/dealership experience

I bet that other car is really slow... ;-)

Heh, once you get used to it, its pretty slow. The passengers on the other hand, they will let you know.

I tried for the life of me to edit my initial post but couldn't find the button or way to do it. Here's more with her cleaned up. Tint going on tomorrow. They don't enforce tint laws much here so it's 20 percent/all around and 50 percent/windshield. She'll look even better :good:

Nice, get that clear protection done too, the paint chips way too easy.

:worthy: f**k it....who cares about the Genesis" let it sit outside! :grinlaugh:

Lol, well the genny does get a garage once and a while, current living situation makes is more difficult to have both cars in the garage.

Tint is on. It's amazing how much an already pretty car can look with tinted windows.

Looks good. I've thought about it but I'm concerned about night visibility.

With the headlights the Genesis has and you having an Ultimate, you won't have an issue. During winter months, 80 percent of my driving is at night. I wouldn't go darker than 50 on the windshield for the same reason you pointed out. With the back-up camera and tilting side mirrors, I don't have an issue.

I've had my Genesis now for about three months and finally had some time last weekend to give her a real bath. Here are a few pics after a wash, clay bar treatment, and waxing. I still love getting into this car!

Looks good, better than mine. I've had one for three months and the roads are still wet from either snow or snow melt so it is filthy. Has a dusting of snow on it right now.

I don't deal with snow at all, one of the upsides of living where I do on the West Coast. The downside is we don't really get all four seasons. We get hot, we get overcast/rainy, and then somewhere in between.

I would kill for that weather for two reasons; no salt and no snow LOL It's a pain to keep a car clean up here. I want to wrap it at some point this year, guess I gotta start pricing it out soon. BTW, car looks smooth

No snow is nice, but 110-115º in the summertime? Not so nice :). I'm hoping the AC in this car is better than my previous 2002 Maxima. That AC was absolutely terrible.
