  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

US dealers who actually have the G70 available for sale.

I'm comparing the useable space to my S4 and it's closer than I thought, except (as Kusa mentioned), the height. So, the lower cubic measurement spec is from the 3" height reduction compared to the Audi. But that's the least important measurement to me, because my gear has plenty of head room in the trunk.

So, thanks for the pictures! I can use this car after all. Hopefully, I can install a hitch mount for my road bike when summer comes.
You don't need a hitch mount...get a trunk mounted one. My buddy has a really nice one on his M3. I am actually in the process of researching the best one. Has to me installed/removed very quickly...and not put dents/scratches anywhere.

Mind you...max I will carry is 2 bikes. We also have a massive 4 bike hitch mounted rack for our Pilot :)

Tell me what kind because I had an inexpensive one that dented and scratched 2 cars of mine. But if he dares to put it on an M3, I'll consider it!

Ok...let me find out which one he has...and I'll share that and any other research I do.

I see the Cherry Hill dealer website listing G70 3.3 "Advanced" trim, but don't see this package being available on the Genesis US website. Is this an error?

I believe they all start out as "advanced" and then the packages are added to bring them to their final trim level. When you are on the dealer website, open the window sticker and you will see if it has any packages.

All G70's are Advanced trim...which is a base G70 in 2.0T or 3.3T. Everything else becomes a package...piled on top of each other up to the highest Sport.

I see, but it's confusing. The dealer lists them all as "Advanced" even though the stickers will title them "G70 Elite" or "Sport" or "Prestige". Window sticker is a reliable way to tell though.

We got our dealer code today, so we should have cars here in a few weeks. We will be the first in IN.

That's awesome to hear! I can't wait to visit you guys and finally see a G70 in the flesh and blood!

I'll be at the LA Auto Show next weekend. That will be my second time seeing a G70 (if it's there) at a show in Cali, while still not being able to buy one. The struggle is real!
I will be there on Monday, will be the first time I see one in person with my wife, and the rear seat might be the main reason I either buy it or I don't. I'm still stuck between the G70, S60 and G20 3 series.

What's the difference between the Dynamic Special Edition vs the Design Special Edition?
Is one a sporty Sport and the other a more luxurious Prestige?

1 point of clarification:
At least in the Midwest, the Design edition comes with Michelin all-season tires since they only sell AWD models here.

The rear seat is indeed quite small. I have two kids still in car seats, but we are a small folk :)

We have a small SUV for typical family outings.

There is another one in Chicagoland - *IL705* Genesis of Countryside (Ettleson Hyundai)
They just received 5 G70's yesterday. I don't remember if 3 cars were 3.3tt or two.

I still can't imagine how you only get 25 mpg highway with the 3.3, my manual V8 gets better than that... That's the main reason I will be going for a 2.0
